Ascendia Pharmaceuticals, a contract development and manufacturing organisation (CDMO), has officially rebranded as Ascendia Pharmaceutical Solutions. The new identity underscores the company’s evolution and its commitment to offering comprehensive drug development services to its biopharma clients.

Founded 13 years ago by Dr. Jim Huang, Ascendia has grown from a small team of experts focusing on poorly soluble drugs into a robust organisation employing over 50 professionals. Its proprietary nanotechnologies, including AmorSol, EmulSol, LipidSol, and NanoSol, enhance bioavailability and solubility, making the “impossible possible” for its clients.

“Our name change to Ascendia Pharmaceutical Solutions defines who we are as a company and what we do for our clients,” said Dr Huang. “It highlights our growth path for the future.”

The company operates from a 60,000-square-foot state-of-the-art facility in North Brunswick, New Jersey. This facility includes cGMP manufacturing capabilities, cleanrooms, and analytical testing labs supporting the development of NCEs, biologics, and complex dosage forms.
