Ingenza Relocates to New Multi-Million-Pound Facility at Edinburgh Technopole

COMPANY PROFILE
  • Ingenza has relocated to a custom-built facility at The Moubray Building in Edinburgh Technopole.
  • The move is part of a long-term growth strategy and more than doubles the company’s operational footprint.

Ingenza, a contract research, development and manufacturing organisation (CRDMO), has announced its relocation to The Moubray Building at Edinburgh Technopole, part of the Pioneer Group. The new premises remain within the Midlothian Science Zone and are now fully operational.

The company’s move follows a strategic review aimed at supporting long-term growth. The multi-million-pound, state-of-the-art building is set to more than double Ingenza’s operational capacity across its biologics, small molecule pharmaceutical, and industrial product services. It also enables the scale-up of manufacturing to 100 litres, which will support the production of materials for first-in-human studies.

As a technology-driven CRDMO, Ingenza aims to provide flexible and scalable contract manufacturing solutions. Its new facility features expanded R&D laboratories and enhanced automation capabilities. The design also supports key platform technologies such as inGenius for IND-enabling studies and codABLE, a machine learning-based gene design tool.

Jaymin Amin, Chief Business Officer at Ingenza, said: “This is a landmark investment for Ingenza. It will enable us to significantly increase our operational scale, further expand our research and development laboratories, and enhance our bespoke service offerings to better support the growth of our customers.”
