- Lifecore Biomedical has signed three new customer agreements spanning early- and late-stage development programs, including a regenerative medicine program and a medical device platform.

Lifecore Biomedical has signed three new customer agreements that expand its pipeline of early- and late-stage development programs. The agreements cover multiple therapeutic and technology areas and will see the injectables CDMO provide services ranging from process development to manufacturing readiness and potential commercial contract manufacturing.
One of the agreements establishes a new customer relationship for a late-stage regenerative medicine program. Under the contract, Lifecore will provide technology transfer, engineering support, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) readiness activities, and process performance qualification (PPQ) services to prepare the product for future commercialization. The company said the program is expected to generate near-term development revenue while positioning Lifecore as a potential long-term commercial manufacturing partner.
The remaining two agreements are with new customers and involve early-stage development programs. One of these is with a global medical technology company developing a novel medical device platform. Lifecore will provide formulation optimization and development support using its biomaterial formulation expertise to advance the customer’s technology.
