LOTTE Biologics has expanded its collaboration with Ottimo Pharma to support the continued development of OTP-01, a PD-1/VEGFR2 dual-paratopic antibody candidate being developed by the biotechnology company.
The expanded agreement builds on an antibody development and manufacturing collaboration signed in June last year. Under the latest phase of the partnership, LOTTE Biologics’ development team at its Syracuse Bio Campus in New York will provide commercial process development and characterization support intended to advance OTP-01 toward launch readiness.
According to the companies, the collaboration now extends beyond manufacturing activities and reflects Ottimo Pharma’s continued engagement with LOTTE Biologics across development and commercialization activities. LOTTE Biologics stated that its dual-site strategy spanning facilities in New York and Songdo, South Korea, supports integrated development and manufacturing services for global biopharmaceutical customers.

Ottimo Pharma stated that LOTTE Biologics’ execution speed and manufacturing support contributed to the initiation of the company’s Phase 1/2a study. The expanded collaboration further strengthens LOTTE Biologics’ CDMO and contract manufacturing activities in antibody development and commercialization support.
