MilliporeSigma and KBI Biopharma Partner on Integrated ADC Development Services

MilliporeSigma and KBI Biopharma have entered into a co-marketing and cooperation agreement aimed at providing integrated services for antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) development and manufacturing. The agreement brings together the companies’ respective expertise in monoclonal antibody (mAb) production and ADC manufacturing to support pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients.

Under the agreement, KBI Biopharma will contribute its capabilities in process development through manufacturing of mAb intermediates, while MilliporeSigma will provide expertise in ADC and bioconjugation production. The companies said the collaboration enables them to offer a combined service package spanning multiple stages of product development.

According to the announcement, the integrated offering is designed to support clients from pre-clinical development through commercialization. The companies stated that the services will be delivered through a U.S.-based network of facilities.

The collaboration focuses on advancing innovation in ADC development by combining complementary contract manufacturing capabilities. The companies said the agreement will allow them to provide end-to-end support for customers pursuing ADC programs.
