Nusano Inc., medical radioisotope producer, has entered into a supply agreement with PharmaLogic Holdings Corp., a radiopharmaceutical CDMO. This partnership aims to enhance the supply chain for critical radioisotopes used in emerging cancer therapies.
The agreement ensures a more reliable and efficient supply of on-demand radioisotopes provided by Nusano, to be utilised in pharmaceutical products produced at PharmaLogic’s facilities. Radioisotopes are essential components in active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) for new cancer treatments, and current supply chains often face challenges, impacting patient care and drug development.

Under the agreement, Nusano will work with PharmaLogic to establish a radionuclide production schedule that meets the needs of both PharmaLogic and its clients. The primary radioisotopes of interest include lutetium-177, actinium-225, copper-67, and astatine-211. The companies will review and adjust the supply agreement annually to ensure it meets the evolving demands of the radiopharmaceutical industry.
