Ritedose Corporation has officially opened its new distribution and logistics centre at Performance Park, marking a major milestone in the company’s 30-year history. The new 225,000-square-foot facility was unveiled during a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by CEO Jody Chastain, state officials, and industry partners.
The site, located at 1150 Performance Parkway, is part of a multiphase $81 million investment designed to scale Ritedose’s operational capacity and community engagement. With this facility, the company now has the infrastructure to manage over 2 billion doses per year and has created 100 new jobs.
“This purpose-built facility marks the next phase of growth for Ritedose Performance Park,” said Jody Chastain, CEO. “However, we weren’t just thinking about growing square footage, labs or equipment—we were also thinking about growing our people and supporting our community.”
The building is the first LEED-certified structure on Ritedose’s campus and includes wellness-focused features like a walking trail through preserved wetlands. Future plans include an $11 million lab to support early-stage therapeutics and a 150-seat training centre named the “Ritedose Center of Excellence.”
The company also highlighted recent milestones, including expanded Blow-Fill-Seal (BFS) lines, a partnership with Verona Pharma for COPD drug manufacturing, and new FDA approvals for respiratory treatments. Ritedose has further contributed to social initiatives through dose donations, employee volunteer hours, and community fundraising efforts.
