RoslinCT Receives Up to £7.25M Grant for Digital Manufacturing Expansion

RoslinCT, a cell therapy Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO), has been awarded an R&D grant from Scottish Enterprise to accelerate the digital transformation of its manufacturing operations in Scotland. The grant provides up to £7.25 million in funding and forms part of RoslinCT’s multi-year digital expansion plan.

The program will support the development of an integrated digital manufacturing environment across RoslinCT’s operations. The company said the initiative will enhance its digital and AI capabilities while improving operational efficiency, data connectivity and manufacturing processes. The investment is also intended to support clients throughout the product lifecycle, from development through manufacturing.

RoslinCT said the investment will create a more connected and data-driven manufacturing ecosystem as demand for advanced therapies grows. The program will support the development and manufacture of cell therapies and is expected to create high-value employment opportunities in Scotland.

The program is part of RoslinCT’s long-term strategy to invest in advanced manufacturing technologies and establish a digitally enabled environment supporting both clinical and commercial cell therapy production.
