Cold Chain Technologies (CCT), a global provider of thermal packaging and digital monitoring solutions, has acquired Global Cold Chain Solutions (GCCS). GCCS specialises in passive cold chain solutions, with operations focused on Australia and India. The financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
Founded nearly two decades ago, GCCS designs and manufactures thermal assurance solutions for the life sciences sector. The company operates a network of manufacturing sites across Australia and India, enabling the safe transportation of temperature-sensitive pharmaceuticals. Its proprietary product designs and engineering capabilities support global life sciences customers.
“GCCS has established itself as a regional market leader over the last two decades by leveraging its differentiated technologies and broad-ranging portfolio of products and services,” said Ranjeet Banerjee, CEO of CCT. “We are thrilled to partner with Andrew and the entire GCCS team to further expand CCT’s footprint in Asia Pacific, which continues to see rapid investment across all life sciences verticals.”
The acquisition marks CCT’s fifth deal since partnering with Aurora Capital Partners in 2019. Over this period, CCT has broadened its portfolio of sustainable packaging solutions, entered new life sciences sectors, launched a digital platform, and expanded its global manufacturing network. With GCCS under its umbrella, CCT aims to strengthen its presence in Asia-Pacific’s growing cold chain logistics market.
