Cold Chain Technologies Introduces Reusable CCT Tower Elite with Integrated IoT Monitoring

  • Cold Chain Technologies has launched a reusable 1600L temperature-controlled pallet shipper, the CCT Tower Elite, designed for the global life sciences sector.
  • The shipper, compatible with Euro and US pallets, was unveiled at LogiPharma 2025 and includes IoT-enabled tracking and monitoring features.

Cold Chain Technologies (CCT) has launched its first major innovation since acquiring Tower Cold Chain in 2024: a reusable, temperature-controlled pallet shipper tailored for the life sciences industry. The 1600L capacity unit, called the CCT Tower Elite, was officially introduced at LogiPharma 2025 in April.

Designed to accommodate both Euro and US pallet sizes, the CCT Tower Elite provides a single, global solution for pharmaceutical companies, logistics providers, and airlines. It is described as the lightest option available in its class, helping reduce shipping costs while maintaining durability and performance.

The product supports four distinct temperature ranges – <-60°C (dry ice), -20°C, +5°C, and +20°C – and maintains temperature stability for more than 120 hours without external power or intervention. Temperature control is achieved through phase-change materials or dry ice, depending on the desired range.

The launch is part of the company’s “Let’s Go Further” campaign, combining CCT’s legacy with Tower Cold Chain’s expertise in reusable logistics solutions. “The CCT Tower Elite represents the culmination of our commitment to providing flexible, reliable, and sustainable solutions for the global pharmaceutical supply chain,” said Ranjeet Banerjee, CEO of Cold Chain Technologies.

To enhance traceability and management, the shipper integrates IoT-enabled data loggers that support live tracking and temperature monitoring through CCT’s digital platform. Available through CCT’s global hub network across more than 20 countries, the fully reusable design offers logistical efficiency and environmental benefits.
