- The move builds on the company’s long-standing operations in St. Petersburg, where over 630 employees work at its softgel development and manufacturing site.
Catalent, Inc. has officially opened its new global corporate headquarters in Tampa, Florida. The facility is located on the 41st floor of the Bank of America Plaza in the city’s Central Business District.
The relocation follows an earlier announcement that the company would move from its former base in Somerset, New Jersey, establishing a corporate office in Bridgewater, New Jersey, and its main headquarters in Tampa. The decision strengthens Catalent’s presence in Florida, where it operates a 500,000-square-foot site in St. Petersburg focused on softgel development and manufacturing.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held to mark the opening, with attendance from company executives and state and local officials, including J. Alex Kelly, Florida’s Secretary of Commerce, and Jane Castor, Mayor of Tampa.
Catalent has maintained a presence in the Tampa region for nearly 50 years, with the St. Petersburg site providing services from early-phase development to full-scale commercial manufacturing.
