Gates Medical Research Institute (Gates MRI) is participating in CDMO Live Europe 2026 as a forum to share its mission and evolution in collaborating across a global health network, inclusive of strategic CDMOs.
Gates MRI’s product development and manufacturing partnerships are based on shared values in supporting medicines and vaccine access to those who need them most in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs).
Gates MRI is a non-profit medical research organization and affiliate of the Gates Foundation that is developing innovative vaccines and therapeutics to fight malaria, tuberculosis, and other diseases affecting lower- and middle-income countries.
Fal Vaidya, CMC SS&P Senior Director for CDMO & Supply Chain Network at Gates Medical Research Institute, will lead the call for collaboration in her presentation “External Manufacturing for Impact: Partnerships Enabling Global Health Access.”
“We’re coming to CDMO Live Europe to connect with current and future partners who can collaborate with us on our mission,” said Vaidya.
“This isn’t just about sharing our strategy; we envision a new model of working with strategic partners to effectively and sustainably develop new global health technologies for use in LMICs in partnership with global partners. The roundtables and PartnerMatch meetings offer the perfect forum for these strategic discussions with partners ready to work on speed-to-clinic and launch readiness for medicines addressing HIV, TB, malaria, and other high-burden diseases.”
Gates MRI seeks partners in a networked model with institutions across preclinical services, product development, clinical manufacture, and commercialization supply chain readiness for launch-ready supply chains for vaccines and oral solid dose products in underserved markets.
Alongside her talk on the External Manufacturing Strategy stage, the Gates MRI team will participate in the PartnerMatch 1:1 concierge meeting program to connect with potential partners about opportunities to join their mission. She joins external manufacturing experts from J&J, MSD, Daiichi Sankyo, Bayer, Sandoz, Polpharma, Roche, and others speaking at the conference.
CDMO Live Europe 2026 takes place May 19-21 at the Rotterdam World Trade Center, brining together 650 outsourced manufacturing professionals, 100+ CDMOs and the PartnerMatch curated 121 meeting program. Download the full agenda
