Almac Group has announced a multi-million-pound investment to expand its facility in Singapore. The development coincides with the company’s tenth anniversary of operating in the country and forms part of a long-term strategy to increase warehouse capacity and strengthen clinical supply management capabilities across Asia-Pacific.
The expansion supports the company’s five-year growth plan. Almac Clinical Services reported that this strategy has already led to a fourfold increase in dedicated -20°C capacity, an expansion of secondary cold chain packaging, and enhancements to temperature-controlled clinical supply services. These initiatives are intended to meet rising client expectations and market demand for advanced cold chain solutions to support clinical trials from Singapore.
Almac noted that the APAC region remains one of the fastest-growing markets for clinical trials. The company has seen strong growth over the past decade, reflecting Singapore’s role as a strategic centre for clinical packaging and logistics.
“We are proud to celebrate a decade of operations in Singapore. This investment reflects our unwavering commitment to advancing human health, not only in Asia-Pacific but globally.”
Dr Robert Dunlop, President and Managing Director of Almac Clinical Services
He stated that Almac’s facilities in Japan and Singapore have been central to managing the regional clinical supply chain and delivering value to clients. He added that the continued investment “fuels our continuous improvement across services and infrastructure to support clients with securing the best possible outcome for patients worldwide.”
As the company looks ahead, Dr Dunlop said Almac remains committed to deepening partnerships with clients while upholding its commitment to “Supply with Care.”
