BioDuro-Sundia, a global CRDMO (Contract Research, Development, and Manufacturing Organization), has announced the launch of its new Compound Management Center in the Shanghai Free-Trade Zone, China. The facility aims to enhance the company’s drug discovery capabilities by offering systematic storage and management of up to 400,000 compounds.
The center is equipped with real-time temperature and humidity controls, ensuring safe storage of compounds in both solid and liquid formats. Additionally, the facility includes automated workflows powered by a Hamilton liquid handling station and Mosaic sample management software, allowing clients to track and access samples efficiently. Key services offered at the center include storage, LC–MS analysis, dissolution, and distribution.
The integration of this advanced compound management system with BioDuro-Sundia’s existing drug discovery services is expected to accelerate the research and development process for its clients. This will lead to faster identification of drug candidates, helping companies reduce costs and bring new therapies to market more quickly.
Dr. Armin Spura, CEO of BioDuro-Sundia, commented, “By integrating this cutting-edge compound management system with our drug discovery platform, we can offer our clients faster, more reliable solutions to bring their new drug candidates to market, benefiting patients around the world.”
