Kindeva Drug Delivery, through its Meridian Medical Technologies division, has secured a contract valued at up to $129 million to supply DuoDote, an FDA-approved chemical nerve agent antidote, to the U.S. Strategic National Stockpile (SNS). The stockpile is managed by the Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR) under the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

The DuoDote autoinjector is a dual-chamber device containing atropine and pralidoxime chloride, used to treat poisoning from organophosphorus nerve agents and insecticides. As part of the SNS CHEMPACK program, the antidote will be strategically positioned across the U.S. for rapid deployment in emergencies.

“Kindeva is a global force in medical countermeasure development, manufacturing, and supply,” said Milton Boyer, CEO of Kindeva. “This contract underscores the ongoing importance of maintaining readiness against potential threats.”

The autoinjectors will be produced at Kindeva’s fill-finish facility in St. Louis, Missouri. This contract builds on Kindeva’s longstanding partnership with the SNS, which the company supports as a leading global CDMO specialising in drug delivery devices.

Milton Boyer added, “With our extensive experience in this space, we are proud to continue supporting the U.S. government’s efforts to protect public health and safety.”
